Faye Wright Neighborhood Association

 The entrance to Woodmansee Park is tucked off of Sunnyside Road across from Winco Grocery Store.  It is a GREAT park located in our neighborhood and something to be very proud of.  Woodmansee has seen many improvements in the last few years.  There are tennis courts, basketball courts, playground equipment, a large athletic field, covered gathering area and so much more. 

Soon to be added is a brand new 9-hole disc golf course.  If you have never heard of disc golf then you should know that it is a free, easy to learn, easy to play activity that draws people out to our beautiful park.

Below is a picture of the city approved plans for the new course.  Right now we are in the middle of raising funds for this new course.  The labor, equipment, time and funds are all donated to building this course.  Maybe you have visited Cascade Gateway Park off of Turner Rd?  That course was built with 100% volunteer labor too. 

As neighbors in Faye Wright we all take pride in our neighborhood and are very excited to add this new dimention to our park.
